Problem
Enterprises hit a wall scaling storage in hyperscale clouds — egress costs, performance ceilings, data gravity. On-prem wasn't viable either. There was no clean architectural pattern for the middle.
Approach
Co-authored the cloud-adjacent storage narrative with NetApp. Built a reference architecture pairing Equinix Metal with NetApp ONTAP, with low-latency private interconnects to AWS, Azure, and GCP. Packaged as a joint solution with co-branded assets and field enablement.
Result
Joint GTM launch with NetApp. Reference architecture published. Adopted by enterprise customers in financial services and life sciences.
